Health & Safety Policy
Our Commitment
Draig Stack Security is committed to carrying out work safely, professionally and responsibly for customers, staff, contractors and visitors.
Site Safety
Before and during work, we consider site access, working areas, customer operations, public areas, trip hazards, cable routes, equipment placement and safe working conditions.
Risk Awareness
Security installations may involve ladders, drilling, cabling, ceiling voids, plant rooms, comms cabinets, external walls and other working environments that require care and planning.
Working At Height
Where work at height is required, suitable access equipment, safe working methods and appropriate precautions should be used.
Electrical Safety
Draig Stack Security does not undertake notifiable electrical work unless suitably competent personnel or approved contractors are involved. Where new mains electrical work is required, a qualified electrician may be required.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide safe access, disclose known hazards, keep work areas reasonably clear and notify us of site rules, restricted areas or special requirements.
PPE & Professional Conduct
Engineers and contractors should use suitable personal protective equipment where required and work in a professional manner while on customer premises.
Incident Reporting
Any accident, near miss, damage or safety concern should be reported as soon as reasonably possible.
Contractor Compliance
Where subcontractors are used, they are expected to follow safe working practices and comply with applicable site requirements.
